Blackwood Bondi is the newest addition to the North Bondi food scene and it’s one the locals are very happy about!
Blackwood Bondi Executive Chef and Owner Robert Lechowicz has done a stellar job of putting together a super-tasty and diverse breakfast menu, with items such as chilli truffled scrambled eggs, blackberry and lavender yoghurt and miso avo. A favourite of ours and others we’ve spoken to is the sweet potato and carrot fritters.
Lunch is equally as interesting; the prawn poke bowl is really good, the schnitty schnitty bang bang sandwich a big favourite, and the Moreton Bay Bug roll enough to cause decision-making issues.
Coffee ranking? Excellent! They’ve also got an ever-changing, single-origin on offer which so-far hasn’t disappointed.
It’s also open for dinner on weekends and features live music on Sundays.
Blackwood Bondi is in a top spot too, on the edge of the park-square at Seven-Ways, under one of the big, old paper-bark trees. Last but not least, we’ve found the service to be consistently good!
So, if you’re in the North Bondi Beach area for a weekend or a longer stay, make sure you add Blackwood Bondi to your must-eat-at list. If you’re looking for North Bondi accommodation within walking distance, please try The Mitchell Bondi.
