The Bondi Organic Market has been a Bondi institution for decades. It’s more recently been called the Bondi Farmers Market, however due to the bounty of organic produce and a local habit of calling it the “Bondi Organic Market” either name works!
The market is held at the Bondi Beach Public School every Saturday from 9.00am to 5.00pm. It’s at the beach end of Mitchell Street and a five-minute walk from the front gate of The Mitchell Bondi.
The vibe is relaxed and happy, with many or the shoppers picking up their fresh organic bread, fruit and vegetables still wet, feet covered in sand and straight from the beach. With awesome coffee, fruit, yoghurt, mueslis, pastries and numerous hot food stalls, the Bondi Organic Markets are memorable and tasty addition to a morning enjoying North Bondi Beach and all it has to offer.
You can also pick up a wide variety of locally produced cheeses and locally sourced meat, the quality of which is usually top-notch.
There’s well-priced fresh-cut flowers and all sorts of other, food-related vendors too.
if you’re looking for something to do on a Sunday morning, there’s the regular Bondi Market, which has also been a long running institution. It’s also at the Bondi Beach Public School and you’ll still find tasty, fresh food and great coffee, but also more traditional market fare, such as handmade products by local artists, clothing and jewellery. It’s worthy checking out, even if you only walk through it on the way to the beach.
